2) The Belize Barrier Reef, which is much smaller at approximately 186 miles. This reef boasts the presence of amazing ship wrecks as well as a world renowned dive site, "the Great Blue Hole".

3) The Florida Barrier Reef, which is located of the east coast of Florida, stretching through the Florida Keys. This reef is located in Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, which is 9600 sq. kilometers, it extends from Florida's east coast all the way into the Gulf
